Some of the decisions make it feel as though this season has already been rubbed out so far as club leadership is concerned (perhaps partly because of the CHN Ok debacle just before the season started). Good to see Averillo getting some time, but why would you sub him unless you trying to introduce him slowly out of some old fashioned notion of blooding the promising youngster slowly? Why would you persist with Lewis unless you thought he needed time to get better + you believe you have time for him to get better?
