Quick question for TK - why do Bulldogs fans on FB and Insta love Lewis? The positive comments he gets are fucking bewildering. There is a new Insta post with Lewis and reading the gushing comments about him is laughable. How can 90% of TK be against Lewis, and rightly so, yet the fans on social media love him? It's one of the mysteries of the universe

I'm not a fan but Lewis had a pretty good game for Mounties last week. It was only a CC Cup game and he still looked awkward, made some silly errors and was very slow as always. But his passes did look a bit flatter and more direct than before and his effort was pretty good. Looked confident, at least with the extra time for halves in CC Cup. Doubt his form will carry into NRL, but at least get a better defender this week!

Round 4 Team News: Lewis to partner Flanagan in Good Friday clash

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have named Lachlan Lewis to start in the halves for Good Friday's clash with South Sydney at Stadium Australia (4:00PM AEDT).
Lewis has been rewarded after a strong performance in last week's Mounties victory over Canberra.
With the Bulldogs having eight players out through suspension or injury, the team has been selected from a group of 21 available players.

Suspensions to Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Luke Thompson and Josh Jackson, in addition to injuries to Ray Faitala-Mariner (12-16 weeks), Jeremy Marshall-King (6-8 weeks), Jayden Okunbor (16 weeks), Christian Crichton (season ending), Ava Seumanufagai (3 weeks) and Jake Averillo (ankle) have created selection headaches for Trent Barrett, although Averillo has been named in the extended squad.

The team changes from last week's match against Brisbane have seen :
- Lewis come into the halves for Averillo for his first NRL match of the season
- Nick Meaney swap places with Corey Allan to start at full back with Allan on the wing
- Sione Katoa come into the starting side as hooker for the injured Marshall-King
- Renouf Atoni move from the bench to replace the suspended Josh Jackson
- Development squad utility Jackson Topine and Dean Britt both named on an extended bench with a final decision on the starting 17 to be made on Thursday.

Smith at lock and Renouf on bench in place of Stimson would have been better

Think I might go watch Peter Rabbit 2. It will be a lot tamer than the Rabbitohs bloodshed on us

FB provides a superficial view of the world. The people giving Lewis wraps have walked past the tv during a doggies game, heard someone like Joey John’s give the prince a wrap and formed their view. The TK on the other hand are a fanatical bunch who analyse his every move and have a bit more of a clue

They do not have an understanding of the game, forums are a dying form of communication, have to really like the Bulldogs to post here tbh

If the Dogs beat the bunnies after last week's disaster it will be the comeback equivalent of John Howard with a triple bypass.

It's funny, Flanagan has a shocker yet Jake gets dropped. No surprise to see Hetherington, Waddell and Flanagan manage to cling to their spots...**** is playing favourites like he did at Manly and it didn't end well there.
Averillo was a deer in the headlights. He needs to build confidence in Reggies. Flano had very poor game v Broncos but was pretty good v Knights and Panthers. Broncos game was an aberration for everyone. I blame Covid Brisbane.

He isnt playing faves he dropped a player thats done 0 in 3 rounds (other then missed tackles).
He has had some super soft moments this year and last he quits when it gets tough massive part of why the scoreline blew out last week, Your an averillo fanboy thats been obvious since the pre-season.

I fkn hate lewis was hoping to never see him in first grade again but averillo has been that bad in all 3 games and lewis can at least tackle, Wel prob get flogged by 60 this week but if avo is playing itll be 90-0
