Soo fucking happy for Lewis to get his maiden try on his birthday. My son is going off tap here at the game..loves Lewis my boy.

That Try says a lot about our club going forward. Check these elements out:
- Brilliant JAckson pass
- Brilliant strong run by Holland who broke the tackle and made the line break
- Brilliant Support play by Hopoate. Doesn't have the speed but is not selfish. He knew to pass
- Dutchie looking a really good half. backed up the play brilliantly and finished it under the post

Just watched it on replay, JJ gets knocked backwards after he’s passed it and holland hits it on the fly...so it looks forward, was actually flat.

If only Holland could defend. He'd be a really good player

I think he can improve that area of his game along with the rest of our right edge. He and Smith have great chemistry in attack so we need to give then every possible chance to improve and succeed.

He is popular and has the ability and personality to change the Bulldogs fortunes on and off the field as a bonus.

I hope Martin builds on what he has shown and gets rewarded for it next year, the last thing we need is people getting complacent so if he can go to another level after first grade experience then I hope we recognize that with a multi year deal early next season
