If we can cut out the silly penalties and unforced errors and sharpen the attack we would be top 4 contenders.

Seriously, one win and and your jumping over the moon proclaiming pay's greatness.

We defended well and actually showed a bit of flair in patches, and got the win which is great.

Doesn't gloss over the previous rable of performances though
 
Did we use a different defence system tonight? Wingers were staying on there man & not rushing in & getting caught out wide

After the game on fox they had DWZ and he was saying how proud he was off the boys listening to his direction when setting the defensive line - so communication could have been a key part

As a half, you’ve got a job.
Control the tempo and field position being fundamentals.
Agree this can be improved, but he’s gone backwards this year.
 
if foran is fit next week do we drop any of the 2 halves or just keep the same team?

We turned up for each other and I’m not taking anything away from the effort but the Panthers are one of the easier teams to defend against. We still had to make our tackles and defend set after set so it was a great to see.

yeah i agree he showed more potential last year, but its such a small sample size. hes obviously not the best half in the world, really is about how quick he can learn/if he can learn
