I read that comment from Gould too, but that doesnt explain why Topine didnt get any fg trial minutes yet others outside the top 30 did. Its also interesting that the Flegg side had a number of SGBAll players today - either a lot of Flegg squad members not available or overlooked. some interesting selections in HM and SGBall teams as well - Would be a challenge to maintain discipline with that age group. Not making judgement on any of this - would be good to know what is happening ( doesnt matter as long as they win though) Sam Hughes the Flegg front row has beeen incredibly dominant in Flegg - didnt play yesterday - hope he has been promoted to NSW Cup not injured.

Moses Pope should feature at some point. Not sure on timing or extent of injury but is running.
Maybe Jackson brought into the squad to add some depth to the forward pack overall and to comply with Gus’s wish to play people in their own age.
If you look at the Riff they also do this to develop kids. A lot there flegg kids go up train and sometimes get a run in trials with grade. If they handle it. They get a minimum contract and play Reggie’s. It’s a good system with opportunity. Hopefully Gus is implementing it here. Will give us talent going forward but will take about two years to start producing
