Hmmm but who is he going to pick? last week he tried to stick with players that Had some commitment to the team. That’s why we had Patolo and no Ogden or Atoni. Patolo was obviously not ready. He didn’t have a choice other than pick Patolo over Napa.
And don’t say he could’ve picked Topine.. too. small unless he is swapped for Biondi odo.
Maybe Baz made a mistake not picking Ogden and Atoni last week but now he is being crucified by picking Napa. It’s the same shit. You can’t have a go at him for not picking Atoni last week and picking Napa this week. Can’t have it both ways.

Atoni and Ogden should have been picked last week bc we needed all the experience we could get after the turmoil and sensationalist media driven week with 5 players fined.
This week the 4th highest paid player doesnt show up for training, after already breaking the NRL bubble rules and part of getting us a fine of $50k. I'd drop all of them but def Napa for not attending training.
The coach establishes a code of honour and bond to each other in the team at the start of his tenure.
Napa breaks it in the most selfish of ways and coach picks him same week, conveying to the NRL world, players and club's members and fans, its fine no consequences on game day...devaluing the jumper IMO.
I dont agree with that decision. Could pick anyone to replace him...he won't be missed and adds nothing.
No valued standards and Baz nade himself look a doormat IMO.
The optics of all decisions count.
