Why are newcastle allowed to hold on longer than we are in every single tackle?
No penalties for anything to us or repeat sets
Ref will cost us along with our pressure mistakes
I remember a tackle late in the game where both tacklers had their hand on the ball after held was called, but no 6 again.
I do think the fack that it was pissing down rain ayed a major part to play. It can be very hard to see in these condituons, and im sure the touchies missed plenty.

Have to say i felt more confident while lewis was there, his kicks were spot on tonight. I think we missed his defence as well. Well done boys and good Win

All I gotta say is
1. Fuck the refs, 7 set restarts for Knights only 1 for us.
2. Lewis and Wakeham are both inferior to Cogger at this point in time
3. Ogden hasnt got whatever 'it' is, doesn't deserve a spot in the 17.
4. Meaney is building nicely, actually is running harder than DWZ at present and is safer under the high ball.
Yep chicken legs cecchin did his best to get them back in it

Meaney tackled in air twice but only penalised once
RFM got called held but then pushed back another ten metres
Set restart pretty much every time knights got ball in last 20
Knights offside by a mile at the end and pinning us to our line

Great game. I have to have bringing Wakeham on for Lewis with how the game was going was a dumb fuck coaching play.
Think he got a bit nervous Lewis would fuck the game like last week lol wakeham is shit

Most of the better posters on here agree that Lewis was very good.
Very good is still shit for 1st grade.

One kick that found grass is very good?

The better posters would agree you have no idea.

Woo Hoo! Well done Doggies!

I feel as giddy as a school girl! Too soon? :D
Just don't let anyone in the team have your phone number. Last thing we need

haha commentators stick that up ya
They only got excited when the knights were coming back then sounded like their dog died when we held out. At least on ABC grandstand anyway. Don't know about other networks.

Lewis got Newcastle back into the game, momentum was with all Newcastle before Lewis got hooked. To be fair to Wakeham coming on after momentum has shifted and try and come on and just adjust to the pace of the game, specially in those conditions and pressure Mann was giving him. A lot people on here have no idea about footy, Lewis got hooked for a reason.

Aaaarrrhh.. It's gunna be a good week!

All the forward were good today and JMK much better. Foran does some good things, but he won't take ownership. Goes missing for extended periods.

Meaney is our 1 now and Hopa to the centres with Lafai or 5/8 if Foran breaks again.

Avo and Wakes looked like under 20 players today.

Georgeqllis is stupid for putting on a junior half in this type of game with only 12 minutes left. Wtf did he expect.
Yeah that was stoopid. Give him half an hour or don’t bother unless injury

Don’t mind the idea of Katoa as reserve 2RF/DH. No worse than some of the other numpties

Foran played well. Made one nice line break had no support. Also put in that amazing grubbed that Averillo bombed. Meaney and Lewis were good today too

He is playing in the centres, a very difficult place to defend, and he is not a centre. What do you expect??
To not be a turnstile.

Not usually defending in the centres is no excuse to constantly be run straight through.
