Oh please. So it was Lewis that made dickhead Crighton drop the bomb? Or Tolman and RMK the tackle through the middle ? or Montoya the pass to his breadbasket? Even if we had Cooper Cronk steering us these other fuckups still would of cost us the game. That's why Crightons gone and Montoya to wing this week. Lewis did nothing wrong.Bit disheartening to be honest, but we just have to accept this will be it for this year. If we dodge the spoon it will be a miracle, otherwise thats all she wrote. Surprised to see the coach say that this is his spine....... Fair enough dont chop and change every week, but Lewis is not Rugby League standard let alone first grade standard. He had a 12 point lead with 14 to go and steers us to a 6 point loss.
Yet retains his spot it seems? He isnt and shouldnt be part of our future (he shouldnt be in our present) his inline defence is suspect, his playmaking is disgusting, his passing is the worst I have ever seen from any first grade player let alone a half, his midfield bombs arent too bad, but that pony has no other tricks to it (his kicking is very very hit or miss and has no short kicking game at all). Yet for the 7 or 8th time of the year he will run out for us again........
I have sounded like a broken record lately but lets use the last 2 months and a bit to blood players, lets stop losing with players that shouldnt be in the team.
Also gotta feel for lafai. I dont care if he has been at the club for 2 mins, he had holland and montoya picked infront of him..... Thats gotta be eye opening for him
Reimis and Lafai should slot in next week (fingers crossed) and hoppa comes back to centre when fully fit and hopefully Averillo transitions to either a starting half spot or off the bench? I dont know.
Anyways rant over. Lets smash the Knights this week, and make klemmer our bitch. Hope thompson aims up to him and puts him away.

Lewis did nothing wrong? His second half was a masterclass in not what to do as a halfback. Started off by not finding touch off a penalty then kept it going with pathetic 5th tackle plays. Instead of taking a shot at field goal when we get a repeat set on the Dragons line when up by 12 he chip kicks in goal and gives the Dragons a 7 tackle set then doubles down with a head high tackle in the same set. It was all the Dragons after that. Is Lewis totally to blame? No but saying he did nothing wrong is way off the mark he played a massive part in losing that game.
So kicking the ball into the head of the opposition getting the rebound and submitting in the tackle instead of putting in another kick wasn’t his fault?? FMD Lewis was poor that second half.

Lewis was fucked! First half he was okay because he had Foran there calling the shots. Then tried taking control in the second half and just ruined everything. Couldn’t find touch, didn’t even try keep the pressure on just kept his stupid chip and bomb kicks that the teams just know is comings everytime, and Saab is like 2 metres tall why the fuck did he keep kicking out to him thinking Dwz was going to out jump him? And that pass to Montoya at the end was shit!
Could have said it better then the above.
I think people that keep on persisting with Lewis because he can kick the ball long, or makes tackles don’t know what a half should do.
We were leading at the half because Foran set up a try and we executed very well after going down by 10 in the few 7-8 mins.
It was not due to Lewis. Second half he was the “senior” half yet made every single rookie error. I mean even burton back himself with a field goal. But Lewis was getting tackled on the 4th. Chipped kicked into the in goal (7 tackle set) kicked the ball into A players head then took the tackle 20 out instead of kicking it again. And threw a horrendous long ball to Montoya (don’t even pretend Lewis can pass) and it hit him below the waist. Fair enough he didn’t single handedly lose The game. There was 2-3 others that help out drastically.
But thinking he is a saviour is very worrying. The club thought the same thing and extended him. Georgalis thinks the same thing and will continue to pick him. But having seen him play most our games (8th or 9th game of the season) yet people still think he is good because he can kick a midfield bomb that always goes straight to the opposition have no idea.
I’d hope the board would realise that had they given him 6-10 games this year they wouldn’t have extended him. Having cogger or Wakeman wouldn’t have changed the half time result. Lewis did nothing extraordinary to Get us back into the game. But he did some stupid things In the second half to give dragons the chance that they took.

Our dummy halves have to kick more often to take pressure off Lewis and to keep opposition from just targeting him.Both JMK and Katoa kicked in first half but neither in the second and Lewis doesn’t have the experience to handle a game plan on his own.
Am sure the coach will have highlighted that during the week and hope our dummy halves learn from it.
