There must be a couple changes with smith, Avo, Lafai and possibly Wakeham coming in. Hoping to see CHN on an extended bench as well doubt that will happen though

Canterbury-Bankstown local junior Jake Averillo returns this week to partner Kerrod Holland in the centres, when the Bulldogs take on the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon (2:00PM).

Averillo hasn't played since Round Seven after sustaining a head knock against the Tigers and then being put in self-isolation for a short period after his parents visited the Crossroads Hotel. Both Averillo and his parents have since tested negative to COVID-19.

In other changes:

• Marcelo Montoya will move to the wing to take the place of Christian Crichton who has missed out on the squad
• Brandon Wakeham comes on to the bench in place of Sauaso Sue who also drops out of the squad
• Kieran Foran is selected after scans showed no structural damage to his toe
• New recruit Tim Lafai, who trained for the first time today, was not considered for selection for this week's match

I reckon Wakeham will drop off the bench or start instead of Foran. Can't see Katoa and Wakeham staying there.

Surprised about Sue unless he is injured. He has been performing better than Tolman and Napa.
