Roberts was on his feet and kicked out DELIBERATELY....TWICE at the player on the ground. At no time was he NOT looking at Simpkins. The referees did not see it? Come on, obviously doing a check of the TAB account I suppose. Really two pairs of eyes in the centre, two pairs on the sideline, three upstairs and they could not see it? No wonder there are questions being asked of the integrity of the officials.

The coach for the Titans was very restrained in his comments I thought and I applaud him for mentioning each and every dirty little thing that happened in a way in which his integrity cannot be questioned nor a charge of sour grapes levelled at him. We all saw it, the commentators all saw it unfortunately the people that matter did not.

As for Wayne Bennett he needs a quick trip to OPSM and a visit to a specialist if he thinks that there was nothing in the incident. No matter whether or not he was frustrated he should not have done it , FULL STOP and if I am correct I believe that that is exactly what was said about the Kasiano one on his beloved lapdog. Skeletor was not saying anything other than Kasiano should be charged and carried on like a dickhead by proclaiming that his man ( Corey) was not at the press conference because he was having stitches inserted in a facial gash.

If schooner boy is not cited and suspended then the NRL is one step closer to showing that it is nothing but a completely inept, corrupt agenda driven body

The inmates are running the institution Wayne. You doubt; I bet you do. Can't afford to have schooner boy suspended now can we when the club itself dealt out just enough punishment for his little alcohol fuelled incident to be excused by the NRL.

Dubious decisions, bloody disgraceful and inexcusable decisions.
Yes you are right.

Wayne Bennett on Sam Kasiano
Broncos coach Wayne Bennett questioned how the incident could go unnoticed. "It's a bit hard to get your head around the accidental part when the tackles been made. The NRL can make their judgement"

Wayne Bennett on James Roberts
"I doubt that will come under scrutiny" Bennett said "I saw what (Roberts) did, but if that's a charge......they are never going to charge that"

As for Corey Parker....well I hope he comes out on all of the tv shows and radio shows and newspapers complaining about James Roberts like he did about Sam Kasiano.

The Parker incident had nothing in it, shouldn't cop anything.

As for Roberts a 1 game suspension would be fair. Although it won't happen because it's the nrl national rorted league
Mate, Roberts took a wind up and put his boot fair into the Titans blokes back. That's worth of a good month on the sidelines.

Come on you blokes...it was a very soft knee from Roberts...no power in the foot...and as for Parker...probably happens 10 times a game in scrums.

Be fair dinkum...Roberts nothing like Kasianos lashing feet in a dangerous place.

Stop having one blue eye and the other white.

Nothing to see here...move along.

The video says it all. Listen to the gibberer Sutton and his lame excuse for no action on the field. Even if he did not see it the bunker should have and they are supposed to point out foul play. It did not help that initially he just dismissed the Titans complaints without a thought, giving the line that now was not the time to have a discussion. Tell me Gerard, when is the time for a discussion? After the other team has had a try awarded which came off the back of foul play by them?

His knee is in a funny position then. The video that was shown side on is very damning. Not a case of one blue eye, one white eye, just the fact that what happened was foul play and cost the Titans dearly, just like a few other, shall we say, contentious decisions. I like neither side but thought that all the advantages were with the Broncos last night.

Someone posted that Roberts kicked him in the guts.

Maybe they have footy injuries & parts of their bodies have moved.

Look at the video, it is self explanatory. A kick in the guts is also a slang term ;
n. a severe blow to one’s body or spirit

didnt you see come out and defend graham kick in the air which got penalized and was charged for that too, but you did feel the need to come out and defend Roberts kick which did make contact with the player and should have been a penalty unlike Grahams.

http://www.nrl.com/roberts-faces-semi-final-suspension/tabid/10874/newsid/101211/default.aspx

Broncos centre Jams Roberts is in danger of missing his side's semi-final clash in the second week of the 2016 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series, charged for contrary conduct in his side's win over the Titans on Friday night.
Roberts was cited for an incident involving Ryan Simpkins in the 51st minute of the contest, and with one similar offence in the past two seasons adding 50 per cent loading to the charge, an early guilty plea would still result in a one-match ban.

Will be interesting to see what sort of defence they will come up with because they will fight it to try and get it dismissed. Grade 1 charge for a deliberate kick.

Parker the pin up boy is excused because we can't rain on his parade. Even Blocker was bemused saying was it because the head butt was not done with undue force that it was no charge.

To be fair, the original Gold Coast Giants/Seagulls were based in NSW (Tweed Heads) :grinning:
