That's IF there's not a horde of sweating, squealing pre-pubescent Reni groupies in the queue. Not putting up with that sh*t just for a damn autograph!!

Got nothing for poor Benny Roberts to sign though....I'll feel slack rocking up emtpy handed for him - but with something for Maitua to sign - might have to whip something up on photoshop later this arvo just quickly...

Yeah, I went - me and about...as I say - 12,500 screaming Year 8 girls. SO f#&ckin' LOUD and so bloody annoying!!! I actually felt sorry for Maitua! I nearly just walked away several times...but stuck it out. Didn't have much time with the players, as there were so many ppl there.

Ben Roberts didn't come - it was Luke Patten. Who joked with me when I said I wasnt expecting him so had nothing 4 him 2 sign that "Yeah, it was a last minute thing, as we realised - Benny doesn't drive, and, well.... Reni CAN'T exactly drive!" and we both just cracked up! Maitua just smiled though...Must be bloody hard having your license & that freedom taken off you! Then we just talked crap about Newcastle on Saturday - I asked Reni to 'Stick one on Joey for us on Saturday night!" as I left and he just laughed and said - "I gotta catch him first! he doesn't run the ball much these days - just passes and hides behind his forwards!" lol

I didn't even bother to ask Reni about his contract as I knew A. he'd have been asked that question 1000 times that night and would be sick 2 death of it and B. He was just going to give the standard "Well I havent made up my mind and we'll see what they offer' crap anyway.

But at least I got my pic of Maitua smacking out Ricketson signed - that'll be a BEAUTY for the bar @ home! He grinned his arse off when he saw that pic! Must be good memories - Heheh!
