Basically in this game Haas monstered us, Reynolds finished it off. As soon as Hass went off we started getting on top even with 12 players. Haas played 65 min and Carrigan 71. Both need to play huge minutes for broncos to win big games. They drop right off once they are if the field. By finals both are going to be spent after Origin etc and playing 70 min every game.

People undervalue Hughes contribution he is the one big bopper we have to counter punch against the bigger packs. Has been sadly missed.

The knee charge is harder it’s so rare but Suali got 2-3 pretty sure I’d have to look that one up. But let’s say we get lucky he’s still copping 4 weeks and that’s if he’s very lucky

We’ve been getting so many fines lately but our luck ran out :(
 
We have stayed at $5 for premiership still . Broncos down 50c to $7
 
From what I saw on TV so limited view I thought Kikau was pretty quiet in the 1st 40 but 2nd 40 he was a heap better.

Problem in the 1st 40 was possession. The penalties Donkeys were getting was way one sided imo. But hey refs are never known for consistency

Unlike watching the Broncos presser where we got considerable time hearing all about attention seekers shoulder. The look on his face was enough to turn milk sour. He’ll play next week because as Dr Maguire always said at Souths ” “He is a quick healer. “

We were found out that if we don't follow Ciros program and deviate in any way we basicly don't have the players to construct enough points to get out of catch up footy. At least not at this stage of their career. Can those 4 players get there and improve to put themselves and the team, into the opportunity of becoming premiership winners, we don't see it yet.

It means we have to face the fact of our great spine, , in what they can achieve, is also wanting, in creating a competitive edge if placed under pressure or we need to gain back the momentum.

Also I won't totally say Sutton stuffed us but he helped Broncs more than he helped us. It's def a thing. We were our own worst enemies with dumb stuff and penalties but every time we got some even slight ascendency, he found a stoppage, get back on the mark, etc. Seemed too much of a coincidence but may have been..it seemed like it. You can't prove these things. His jarring presence was affecting us at every turn. Can most of that be explained by our poor penalties and tackling? Yes but for the first time this year, a ref affected our rhythm of play.

A lot of our players had their worst games and some went rogue from our style. That first try. We played dumb and let our own aggression go against us and we put our own game under stress because of it.

Ciro will have them go thru the game and hold each player accountable. We'll learn from this humbling.

We are still that same team we were all proud of and they're still the same players were are all proud of. They had an off night due to several factors. They're gonna be hurting and disappointed with themselves bc they went away from the trust your mate aspect of our style. They'll bond even tighter after this experience.

Concur Wendog we got picked for things not picked by other refs. I was paying attention to certain stats and during the parts of the game where we lacked any type of go forward etc the time for play the ball speed was a lot worse for us but levelled up at the end to identical speeds. Broncos had quicker play the balls due to us getting called instantaneously. Not even due to dominant tackles being their reason for lying on us longer.
