I’ve always been a fan of Enari’s,” Ciraldo said. “When I asked Kurt Mann (former Knights teammate), he just said he’ll blow-up the GPS with the amount of running he does in games. He’s a quiet guy, but works hard and in the pre-season he was one of our best performers. He was on track to start the season in the NRL, but unfortunately he got a foot injury just before trials. He’ll be back around round-10.”

Dont think we should be testing him out especially if we’re first. But Ciraldo knows best I guess…
 
Think we know the bench will be Mann, Hayes, Todd, Hopoi. Taafe 18th man. Wilson to drop out and Kiraz to the wing.

I think I found the reason why

BLAKE TAAFFE
“Taffey played in a grand final with Souths in 2021. He’s always had the talent and we felt that being behind Latrell (Mitchell) at Souths and he needed an opportunity,” Ciraldo said. “He got the first chance at fullback with us and did really well. Unfortunately he got injured against the Roosters (last year) and Connor Tracey came in and did a really good job. Like Jake Turpin, Taffey is one of those guys that if we put him in the NRL we can rely on him. He’s a really good clubman as well. Last week, he and Turpin and a few others played at Henson Park at 3pm and then drove to Shark Park and parked in the back streets 15-minutes away to be there for Jack Todd’s debut and to support the boys.“It says alot about him.”
 
Kiraz is 100% back on the wing
But will hopoi is he ahead of Wilson I haven’t seen him play much I’d rather have Wilson as backup

Taaffe has been one of our best in Cup this year.
Plus kicking at a high percentage as well.

Well he can do the same and drive to Accor and watch Hopoi play this week

I don't trust him under the high ball in 1st grade, may do well in reserve grade but not 1st grade

Though in fairness Newcastle don't have good kickers
 
Just looked at the NrL ladder and my heart skipped a beat....

Bulldogs on top, with Warriors second.

Last time this happened was 2002 and we then got stripped 37 points
