Official Rnd 3 vs Eels @ Parra - Sun 23rd March 4pm

Mann hasn't played 5/8 for a few years. Clearly he is our best 13 & has to stay there - anyone suggesting anything else is deluded or off chops? You choose which one you are.

Tend to agree. Heyward into 6 with Tia or O’Neill onto the bench is the best choice imo. Least disruption to the formula and gives one of the youngsters a taste of NRL. Everyone else does their usual jobs. Consistency of lineup is preferred.

Will be interesting to see if Ryles brings the hammer down again, after another poor effort.

It gives me heaps of confidence knowing several of our discarded players will probably be named. Kautoga, Doorey and JAC for instance. Samrani may get a run too. JAC can still hurt us because of his speed, but the others were released for a reason.

I would bring in Guymer and Matterson at the expense of Katouga and Lane. Would drop Doorey and replace him with Samrani also

Guymer concussion apparently. Point is they have dogshit forwards. Kautoga should be dropped for that pathetic kick chase where he ran past the fullback! Like wtf? I’d be more concerned about Matto and Cartwright than most of their other options, but even one of their best forwards Hopgood, has been terrible.

Yep that kick chase was putrid.

It was most of the team too. On that particular occasion the line was so staggered it was shocking. Hopefully they haven’t fixed that up this weekend lol. Seeing that made me so glad our kick chase is usually very good.

With Kiks and Burto out, balances this game right out.
Hopefully the line up is thereabouts:

1 Tracey
2. Montoya
3. Critta
4. Xerri
5. Wilson
6. Tia/Hayward/O’Neil
7. Sexton
8. King
9. Mahoney
10. DSF
11. Sitili
12. Preston
13. Curran

14. Mann
15. Hayes
16. Morrin
17. Todd/Underhill

I mean O’Niell played pretty bad in our cup loss to the Dragons after some good form in trials so he’s a bit up and down tbh. I don’t want Hutchinson either but in saying that he’s experienced and will most likely get the nod because of that.
Sexton and O'Neil had a good combination going at the beginning of last year in NSW Cup when we at the top of the table

Tia can’t play. O’Neill unlikely and if it’s not Hayward he will have one of the bench spots.

CC isn’t dropping Salmon either.

Cartwright is one of those players that always seems to turn up on days he plays us. Plays like shit in most games but turns it on against us.
Coach and the team won't be complacent but no doubt some of our fans will be or have been already with the we will smash them by 50 rhetoric..

A solid to semi dominant win with improved overall defence and less errors(12 or 13 is too many, heat probably played a part though)will more than do me.
Then into the Sharks, easily our toughest test of the season to date.
