Pretty impressed with what Ciro said in his last presser.
"reality tv shows"
Anyways he did say we did alot right in the first 60 minutes of last weeks game. Personally whilst the game was on I just wanted the win no matter the score but we shat the bed. Said what I thought at the time aswell, no one is taking leadership when we started to fall apart.
Anyways its done now.
Still think we should comfortably beat cows.

Why do I have a feeling salmon will go to centre and xerri on the wing, tuala playing left right out and suluka-fifta being 18th man.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about this game. I’m curious to see what our mindset is like after being the better side for the majority of the past 2 games yet still coming out of it 0-2.
A win up there will be absolutely massive for us and hope the boys remember what they did to us back end of last season and are keen to return the favour

Agree.
Tough trip to Townsville.

He seemed very confident with Tuala...something else TK disagrees with.

Certainly no player ever gets a public bagging or less than a ringing endorsement off Ciro :grinning:
I said early on maybe pre season that Tuala was ahead of every winger in the club not named Jacob Kiraz with pecking order due to his understanding of Ciro structures, reps, efforts at training and was going to start round one before injury

Ciro still holds him in high regard and although he didn’t set the world on fire in his club debut, he still carried for the most metres of any dogs players, nil errors and more importantly no tries were scored on him

Interesting Ciro called out the leadership (lack thereof) and pretty disappointing that no leadership was shown from Kikau and even former co captains Burton and Reed

Buzz on Monday
Conor Tracey being pushed out
What a tool. So a guy who can’t even pull on a jersey until next year due to injury is going to push our fullback out who also has a contract next year.Does he understand Blake Taafe is off contract , he is a fullback but once again Buzz adds two and two and gets a dozen.

positively it's good to get rid of the shit before the finals and work out little niggles like that, but that's the way the cookies crumble sometimes can't win em all even though we'd love to

The kind of no frills, reliable guy to help us thru this transition from a pretty much defensive team to developing better attack, now that Ciros systems have been learnt.

Him and Gus know we will have to develop the roster but whilst doing so, not expose the teams shortfalls...his strategy, and the players ability to keep up this 100% effort under playing stress, has been put to the test these past weeks.

We are still very much a work in progress as you say.

lol yeah I know, but no way in hell will we drop Galvin.
I'm not so sure. Who knows. One thing we can guarantee Ciro doesn't give up his players due to fans/media criticising him.

This week he may feel, with our SOO players returning, that dropping back to Cup is best for Galvin or he is persisting in getting the kid up to speed in f/g if needed.

We're in his hands :grinning:

Cowboys pts conceded last 6 games…

All Cowboys origin players are backing up and Murray Taulagi returns from injury. I think we will make this game hard for ourselves
