Normally I would say rubbish but Origin 2 has got me very very concerned about the league. That was soooo blatant that you can't deny it. Ref was told to go out and engineer a QLD victory for a decider, however the difference in teams was so big and NSW got an early try that to give QLD momentum the ref had to be so one sided that even the media etc were calling it out.

There are some pretty damn good game managers in the referee ranks right now. Surely they could earn way more actually playing the game at 7, even decent game managing 7's are few and far between right now!

After Friday, I'm broken in our hopes for this year, think the only thing that could change my mind is if we go on an undefeated run all the way to the end of the season and finals

The real story now for Bulldogs fans is not the media fart-fest. It is how Bulldogs must get a top 2 spot to avoid away finals against Raiders and Storm.

I'm upbeat. Bulldogs are more than capable of winning the next 6 games:

Cowboys, Dragons, Manly, Tigers, Warriors and Roosters.

Before facing Storm, Panthers and Sharks.

Sure, the Raiders are sitting pretty with two byes and only three away games left.
(If Raiders win the first final they have yet another week off and yet another home game for the preliminary final.
They would head to Sydney for the GF having had three weeks off over the previous 11 games. And only three away games in three months...)

But Storm play Broncos twice, Panthers and Bulldogs. They may not waltz into 2nd position. If we win all the games we should win, then a top 2 spot could come down to the round 25 game in Melbourne.

The key to getting to the GF is to avoid Melbourne and Canberra at their home grounds.

Bulldogs have to win the games they should win. (Like the last two games which cost us 4 valuable points).

Starting with the Cowboys. They will get the job done.

No more 'experiments'. No more 'trying out a few things'.

Just Do It.

Cowboys are absolute trash defensively and if all our Origin players back up (and actually play their preferred positions) we should be putting on 24 points as an absolute minimum. If we play a small pack, 2 middle bench, and don’t even use our 8 interchanges we are asking Drinkwater to carve us up and he will

huge game imo

This game should be an easy win, but the pressure is on, if we shit the bed this week the media frenzy will be next lvl.
