OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Rnd 18 vs Broncos @ Accor Fri 4th July 8pm

I've stated that we need Galvin in the team, but I don't see him as a halfback. I was a big supporter of Sexton, and you can go back and see my posts where I was telling Sexton haters that he needed time to develop, as all good halves do. But a season later, and he has not progressed one bit in my estimation.

Still doing the same dummies and getting caught every time due to his lack of pace and inability to read the play near the line. He should be directing the side when we are in a scoring position.

I'd be happy to see him team up with Galvin but, as Sexton is leaving, it makes sense to put Galvin in at half and see if he can make a difference, because there is potential in him that Sexton doesn't display. If Galvin fails to deliver, I'll say so.
If I’m a betting man (which I am) Galvin will be wearing the 7 by the time the finals roll around

I’m looking forward to the remaining games Cowboys, Manly, Wahs and Storm especially
We need those games if we are there to compete for a top four position. They will tell us whether we are just making up the numbers, or a real threat.

Raiders have the easiest run of any NRL side, and two byes up their sleeve. Minor premiership is out of our reach, but we can still stay in the top four if we can win some of those games.

Cowboys, Manly, Warriors, should be winnable if we keep to the game plan and get rid of those silly errors.

67% completion rates will not win games.

I’m actually still trying to work out how Piakura survived the HIA when he was out standing count yet comes back and to rub salt scores the winning try

Rewind 7 days prior DSF was no where as bad and gets category 1 before he leaves the field and despite passing all tests and still gets a 10 day holiday

Make it make sense

I don’t really care about minor premiership

Par for the course from here is a top 4
The goal should be top two regular season finish for that week one home final

It rarely does with the NRLOL

We’ll be lucky to make the eight the way we are going
relax we'll still be top 4
Oh I am not stressing mate, just looking at the way we are playing. And if it continues we won’t be top 4 it’s that simple.

Its not a huge fix bro. We lost to Panfers in a tight one and played a disgraceful half against broncos with out our SOO players. The nature of that loss fkn burns but our season is far from over. IMO our defence has been a little off but this can be fixed through attitude. Our attack has been clunky even at our best. That will improve as the timing with Galvin improves. No team scares me. We can beat all these *****

Most people on here playing into Braith's and Buzz the drunks hands.... They hate seeing us happy and love seeing us turn on each other ....... Trust the process and stop bitching
We are Bulldogs fans so we need to get that shit out of our system lol But agree bro, we need to trust the process and Ciro to have us firing when it matters

When its all said and done, this Galvin selection has been made by Ciro. The player doesn't pick himself so he deserves a bit of leeway till he settles in. It hasn't been a stroll in park with optimum conditions for him. At 19 he's had a lot to contend with.

That loss would have rattled CC in presser we made the same mistakes we didnt learn, presser v riff, lessons, lessons, for mine disruptions to teams, and inability to get into thier heads at ht which he done so well all year, he is the the trainer if the trainee doesnt get message is the trainers job to take a different path...
Leading 16-0 at half time is not always an advantage. The coach must bring the players down from their over-confidence in the knowledge that whatever happened in the first half may not be repeated in the second. Realistically, the Bronx will always come back and 16-0 was never insurmountable given their abilities. The problem was we took our eyes off the ball (literally) and tried to defend a lead rather than adding to it.
An example was the decision to take the penalty kick rather than apply pressure to an already bruised opponent. One more try then would have sealed the game.

we haven't really had a settled team over the last 6 weeks with origin, suspensions and injuries.
No Doubt, but there where some very concerning indicators in that game on Friday, we have been one team one unit all year even in our worst losses, that wasn’t the case on Friday night, the team that played the panthers and the team that played the Gronks where vastly different sides in terms of attitude and buy in.

Bruh I don't get how people think galvin is the reason we lost this game, it wasn't galvin, sexton or Burton. We kept dropping the fking ball, ciro moved the structures of the defence in the second half for no reason at all and we were shell shocked, galvin was a decision for a long term plan not Mr fix it, when we get sitilli back, and our origin players, you'll see the team we're going to field towards the end of the year, when you drop 5-6 balls in the last 15 minutes and have adam Reynolds and maam attacking your like non stop after making tackle after tackle wtf did you expect to happen? But I guess it was galvins fault for making all our players drop those balls set after set, he should of never had that haircut in the first place!! What a disrespectful 19 year old!

There was some bad attitude signs on Friday which I didnt like, which im sure gets spoken about in house this week but TBH Galvin plays so quick at the line that we need to adapt to him and it will improve us…just in time for the finals and wont it be a sweet day to see buzzes face and those other hacks as Critta brings the trophy down burwood rd

Easy to say keep attacking, the only problem is a dropped ball & then what happens, the ahh you f/wit you dropped the ball.

Yes very true about the concerning attitude but we saw that with Phins game where they pretty much gave up :(

This team has concentrated on defence. They aren't used to turning into attack mode very quickly. Its set up. Set up. Set up with us...mainly due to our non-expansive halves.

It will take time for them to get used to Galvin but on the other hand he needs to realise this is a highly structured team familiar only with their own process bc they haven't had quick thinking halves.

Once this is sorted by Ciro we should have some answers and solutions to our poor attack.

Whether we get a premiership this year, next or a couple of years it will be the sweetest victory of all and full vindication for our long media hounded club and fans.

The media will always focus on us because we are the Bulldogs. The SOO couldn't get any air space because we are the NRL. Premiership race is wide open this year and we will be a shot
