Before the game CC said that whatever the result was, their would be important lessons to learn. So I summarised a few.

Critta - next time take the penalty kick.
Burton - need to do a play every game or two where you start telling the blokes to get behind you for a kick on the 3rd or 4th, and then run the ball instead. That way when you do it for real you won't have someone charging you down.
Kikau - Don't force the offload when we have time on the clock and are only 2 points behind.

CC - don't swap the wingers for key games. They both tried hard but clearly were unsettled due to unfamiliarity.

Oh and Penriff, nice win, but you blokes are not contenders yet. Nice of you to turn up for the game against us, but you now have to keep doing it.

Disappointed but in the grand scheme of things, we'll be ok. Hopefully some lessons learned for later in the year. Should've taken the 2 to try and and send it to golden point, just cause Critta has been hitt them pretty sweetly so far this year. But, Critta had a rare off game overall. I say, let the media inevitably suck off Cleary and co and let them think Penwith are back, and let them right us off as contenders.

He took some poor options and made errors, but he also went close to scoring a solo try. He wasn’t great, but it was the fact no one else stood up that meant we lost. I swear to god the switching of wingers is infuriating and makes zero sense! Why change two combos that have been working so well?! It upset our fluency on the edges. Losing a middle at the start didn’t help either, but he shouldn’t be there anyway. Hughes is far better.

Clearly it was a tactic to get Kiraz on To'o but the problem was, we hardly made it into the Penrith 20 in the second half to put up an attacking bomb on To'os tryline.

Too much 1 out rubbish in middle of the field and abit too much crab running from our backs on kick returns.

Also looked like we were lacking another forward.

Quite simply, if Leo Thompon is on our bench tonight, i think we crack into their 20m in that second half and likely find a try.
