Official Rnd 15 vs Souths @ Accor Sun 15th June 4pm

Probably right, but apparently some teams don’t follow that tradition. Maybe some players prefer certain numbers. Example Xerri wears 3 on the left, Critta 4 on the right.
I remember the days ( gone by ) when i first payed league 2 was always the right wing ( as i used to wear no 2 ) 5 left wing but i'm talking 65 odd yrs ago.
LONG LIVE THE OLDIES.

And the clowns at fox sports will write another article on him.
And someone will post it on here.

Ive pretty much given up on commentary, footy shows, talkback radio etc. Dont care for podcasts.
Usually throw the game on 2 mins before kickoff.
The game is all that matters, the rest is mostly dribble.

I‘m of the same vintage as you.

Nothing wrong with being vintage gb. We are like a fine wine, better with age.

Yeah maybe, but the distance I hit the ball on the golf course the last 10 or so years is nowhere near as far as it once was.

Ability to do things as efficiently and strongly as we age is a problem so then you have to do things to the best if your ability. My knees get a bit more prone to reacting badly to impact in gym work so I modify slightly when that becomes an issue; box jumps become box step ups and squat jumps become squats to calf raise. Same mechanics just friendlier. Not sure there is much you can do in your situation to get the same distance though. Has your handicap suffered?

Yes my handicap has gone up in recent years. My short game is now something that has to work. On days when I score well, my chipping and putting has been the key. My knees also react badly at times when I’m on the treadmill, which my wife insists i get on at least 20 minutes per day.

Good wife looking after you. Move it or lose it they say. I love my low impact rowing and spin bike; lucky the gym I go to utilise these in some of our circuit classes. As long as your golf is beneficial and enjoyable that’s the key.

I definitely have a great wife.

No Burtons boot to control fuel position today puts lots of pressure on our young halves.

The go forward and scramble in defence from King will be missed.

Crittas defence and attack threat on his edge will give South’s plenty of room.

But Manns ability to control the middle and give our edges space most likely can’t be replicated.

This is going to be a very tough game. Lucky for us no Walker or Trell.

Has anyone been given details for the 1995 heritage jersey event?

I was invited and RSVPed but no details yet…
Yeah same thing happened to me and no response from the club. Thankfully it seems others received info so will head to the locker room

Galvin getting early ball to our back row is going to cause havoc. Preston and Kikau on the edges is where I reckon the game will be won
