Saw a clip of Ciro speaking about the players and origin in an early interview (assuming leading up to the game) and he was happy for our players to play origin for the experience.

Made me re-think my stance, if he’s happy for it then I should be too but I still struggle with the idea of losing players and potentially wins.

He thinks it’s a great opportunity for our depth players to get a chance. Hes not wrong it’s fantastic to be in this position

It will only be Stephen Crichton and possibly Kurt Mann.
Not expecting Jacob Kiraz, Matt Burton, Jacob Preston or Reed Mahoney to be picked.
Max King is not only a Smokey.
So it’s only 1 at most 2 players we roll on!
 
The only Chrichton charged last night was Stephen. 3000 early guilty or 2 match suspension if he fights or loses. Big fat zero for the two roosters who raised their forearms. One who cost us a player for all but 8 mins and next week.

Best thing for us was Lindsey Collins scoring a try. Meant Robbo kept him out there way too long. Dude looked like me out there was completely gassed and couldn’t get into a position or make a tackle, Kiraz and Hayward both blew straight past him. That game def cost him a an origin spot.
 
Good win last night. I figured IF we score 1st I'm the 2nd half the. we're a chance.

Soon as dogs scored 1st I knew the wave was coming. CC did his homework well and figured Marky was dodgy under the big bombs.

In all it was and enjoyable game...Mark N does magic and reckon he's gonna be an exceptional winger.

You just never write off the Dogs even if they're at 0. They are like the Riff in that they don't panic and just chip away til they score and then watch out.

And they did this without a full squad

Still I think if the Chooks can play 80 min we are a chance against Gummies and Faders.

Watching the other games is so mich better too....although heading to ZZ top tonight so ill miss the games.

Actually just mowed the lawn cracked a beer at 1242pm....off to the casino then ZZ TOP

Make sure you are a “Sharp Dressed Man” tonight!! Awesome song! Also, one of their best songs I reckon, “La Grange”, is based on a chicken farm. Pretty apt as we stuffed some chickens yesterday! Doggies got “Legs” baby!!

The Polynesian boys I used to coach would cook me and the rest of our team a Hungi at the end of every season, I loved it, whole chooks , pork ,whole cabbages Sweet potato etc but I could never understand why the fuck anyone would Choose to eat Taro lol
