Wow very Sad, brings back memories of sitting down with my dad as a kid and watching his cooking show and following it up with an episode of Harry Butler in the wild lol two of the scruffiest cahunts that have ever been on Television but both fkn legends.

Didn’t realise he was nearly 90.
An Aussie institution in the 80’s.
Did well for a bloke who was once homeless on the streets of Melbourne.

Actually I reckon Pete would’ve been horrified at the change of name for Coon Cheese (as was I) after being an ambassador for so long:
I loved his lack of PC - when interviewed once he said: ‘To succeed at the ABC you have to be a commie or a poof - luckily for me I was both’ :tearsofjoy:.

No way you’d get away with that today…
 
An Australia icon laid to rest :(. 89 is a damn good innings though.

For me though the celeb death that's gonna hurt the most is David Attenborough and at 99, you'd have to imagine that'll sadly happen in the next 5 to 10 years, despite being in good health it seems.
