Yes mate very sad indeed. Loved his passion for the game and his commentating in particular which he used to to take all the ribbing in the world, but by gee had a massive amount of knowledge of the game. True gentleman and will be missed.

Very very sad. What a legend! He will be missed. It doesn't seem right that he is replaced by a toss like Brett Lee
Rest in peace Richie :(

Seriously. I reckon Brett is one of the better commentators on the cricket. Ten times better then Michael "all I talk about is myself" Slater and Shane "I know everything and want everyone else to know that" Warne.

As for Ritchie... cricket will just not be the same. I know he hasn't been commentating as much lately but still be sad that he won't be there at all. Sad loss for the entire cricket community

Stands next to Alan McGilvray as the voices of cricket in Australia.

Peterson is a better commentator than Cricket player. The guy had a lot of crap on him but he's doing well in commentary now. Hasn't done much yet but he'll be good for cricket.

:(

Sad day as I grew up watching cricket to Richie, Bill, Tony and Michael Holding :(

Cricket has lost a true gentleman.

May he have many overs in the oval in the sky with Bradman and the greats.
