He tweeted something the other day about the contract. Said He’s in there plans and there letting him get more game time before putting a value on him. I’m guess a 1 year deal?I don't see any quotes from Gus in that article
Pure speculation
With Kikau coming where does this leave RFM.. ?He tweeted something the other day about the contract. Said He’s in there plans and there letting him get more game time before putting a value on him. I’m guess a 1 year deal?
Especially if we learn how to deliver the sort of ball that Kikau's getting at Penrith. Mahoney will help but we still need a half.Him and Kiks should make a devastating combo. Salivating for next season.
Kikau will be on Burton's sideEspecially if we learn how to deliver the sort of ball that Kikau's getting at Penrith. Mahoney will help but we still need a half.
Just saying both edge forwards need good ball. Hard to know how good RFM could be if he ever got good ball.Kikau will be on Burton's side
Yh maybe, don't mind continuing with Jackson starting on an edge and shifting to the middle.A good chance Jackson starts on the edge, RFM on the bench I reckon.
RFM was always a right side edge forward, and a very good one at that, when not injuredWith kikau coming next year, reckon he'll be bench prop or lock?
That 100th game deserves a standing ovation..Only 92 games wow, hopefully he has some luck and can stay on the field.
On the right hand edge. where he has always been. With Kikau coming where does this leave RFM.. ?
If he is starting on the right then why is he a "backup"? A player starting on the bench, in the 17, isn't a "back up" either. You're not gonna pay him anything more than minimum wage as a backup
He might, but he doesn't have to. We need an right side edge back rower and we need 2 back rowers off the bench.Or he has to move to the front row
RFM can play right side. We don’t have many edge forwards at the club. I don’t think he’ll break the bank, maybe 200-250K. 1 year deal. Minimal risk. With Kikau coming where does this leave RFM.. ?

Always a Bulldog
That's what I thought too, he was playing off Foran on the left when he had that good yearRFM has always been on the left?
I don't know why he played on the left for us but he was always a right edge backrower or lock when coming through the grades. That's what I thought too, he was playing off Foran on the left when he had that good year
Yep, I remember when he first had his debut for us (I remember this because he was busting tackles and had his arms free for offloading but no one backing him up)I don't know why he played on the left for us but he was always a right edge backrower or lock when coming through the grades.

He has probably been out on the left as that's usually where the strike players play. Personally I think he's best through the middle, then right edge and then left edge. He probably starts the year on the right and then shifts to the middle when a better option comes along.Yep, I remember when he first had his debut for us (I remember this because he was busting tackles and had his arms free for offloading but no one backing him up)
But the majority of times for us, he's played on the left. The problem is, he's been great as a bench prop too!!!
Wherever we play him, as long he's fit, he's a great asset for us.
And remember Pay dropped RFM for that dope elliot FFS!
