Yes, this was THAT game from 2018 where Reimis Smith emerged from the shadow of his father Tyron Smith and became his own man. In this game, Reimis scored a hat-trick in a game that the Bulldogs dominated from start to finish resulted in a duck-egg scoreline for the Dragons, a team who were tipped to win comfortably.

With the season all but over for the Bulldogs, this game was a training run for us, and there was no pressure to perform whatsoever. The Dragons however needed this win to have any chance at securing a top 4 finish to the season/

It didn't quite go as planned.

All I could do is watch Dufty and think damn he is so bad when trying to position himself in defence. He has had ages to fix it. Might be a one and done season for us next year cause we must have something else better to try in that role.

His defensive positioning is terrible I agree. This is something they should be bringing in a specialist ex-fullback to work with him over the offseason. I think with the right guidance a lot of what he gets wrong can be fixed.

I do however see his value with ball in hand. We don’t have a good 7 in our whole squad. I think Dufty could help make up for this deficiency and at least offer a foil for Burton on the right side of attack.

My biggest concern with Burton is he will be targeted and thus less effective because the lack of another ball playing organising half. Dufty I’m hoping can ease that pressure a bit.
