The thing is this. If he doesn't part ways with the dogs they'll fine him big dollars and most likely let's say 8 week suspension going by Sharks Trindall punishment which would be no good for us next year. He moves onto another club so most likely the NRL will have to punishment him if I'm correct? The new club won't have him for that amount of time so he will have to take a big pay cut to get a contract. Will be interesting to see what the outcome will be and who is prepared to take a hit on his suspension.

True guarantee if GUS gets rid of him he will play a whole season and will be deadly with another team

That is what annoys me most. If it was some fringe player they wouldn’t be circling. The trust has been broken and that is the worse thing. Probably if he had admitted it would still be a dirty situation but moving on not in the picture. I'll be pissed if we sack him, he should be fined and then offered a cheaper deal to 'pay us back' for what he's done. If he chooses to leave, then we know he really doesn't love/care for the club like he claims.
