To be fair NRL quality players don’t drop those. Even if it was a bit high you find a way to get it. His attempt looked WNRL level. Hopefully was just an off game but yeh. Looks like his best position is a roaming middle. Can’t see him as a long term starting 9.

Bailey Hayward is a quality player and will do the job the coach wants. He is only signed until the end of 26 and I expect that to be extended whether he plays hooker next year or not. He is a seriously good utility so I'd imagine the club would like to keep him as a utility that plays some hooker. Expecting another player to be starting hooker next year.

What i liked was with and minute to go, up 42-4, he got angry at himself for not catching it. That shows his character.

I still remember there was doubt about him being our full time FB last year.

Good chance Latu will be Kikaus long term replacement. Spinks might have something to say about it though.
