Recommended framing shops

Hey guys

Finally got my 2012 jersey all signed. Want to get it framed. Can anyone recommend any place in Sydney?

I have never framed anything before so not sure what to expect process wise? Anything else I need to keep in mind?

In the inner west of Sydney, I used to use the services of Strathfield Picture Framing at 158 Liverpool Road, Enfield (Ph: 9715 3955, Web: )http://www.strathfieldpictureframing.com/). Run by a really nice Vietnamese couple, Toohey & Yen Nguyen (just happened to still have their businmess card at my desk.

Your costs will depend on what quality frame, and how big etc, plus, a jersey would be bit more complicated than a simple I reckon it would cost abouyt $150 give or take.

I work in Strathfield and actually just went to this place, he told me im looking at about $280. He seemed nice enough and explained the whole process. He also recommended a place to go get a plaque made up that i want to include.

Jerseys would cost a lot more than a regular faming job, so price doesn't entirely surprise me.

To be honest i thought it would be around the $500 mark, so was quite happy with the price. Dont just want to jump to the first place i go to, wouldnt mind getting a couple of quotes.

for anyone in qld wanting a jersey or sports memorabilia framed. the footy barn in Toowoomba uses a bloke from Clifton on the darling downs, this blokes work is first class i have seen a few things he has framed.

So went to League Zone in Liverpool Westfields the other day, they can get my jersey framed with photo highlights around the jersey for $350.00, seems well priced to me, gonna drop it off next week and get it done. Will post up pics when i get it..
