Really, I thought Sexton Waa much better than Hayward today.
Not really disagreeing with that.
You're probably right.
Hayward is probably getting the ball under less pressure than Sexton.
It is just that Hayward seems to me to have a better idea what he is going to do with the ball, and can adjust better if something happens in the play.
And Sexton definitely carrying more game management responsibility.
So Hayward may have a similar problem if he was 7 rather than 6.
My main concern remains about how Sexton will cope with finals pressure.
Because he will be targeted in finals and if he is already throwing passes to nobody or throwing hospital passes when under pressure, I hate to think what might happen if Munster, Hughes, Katoa and Bore go for him in a final. And Sutton is ref.

3 Crichton - I just rewatched the game, concentrated on him, and he was unbelievable, rock solid in defence, dished out some hard hits, ran the perfect deception plays many times (fake runs, no look passes, FMD even a dummy flick pass), demands multiple players to tackle him, dished up tries for Kiraz on a platter.

2 Tracey - 266 run metres (#1), 50 post contact, 1 try assist, 7 tackle breaks and 2 line breaks can not be ignored, looked dangerous every time he had the ball in even the smallest space and 0 missed tackles.

1 Kiraz - 228 run metres (#2), 44 post contact, 14 tackle breaks, 3 tries, 1 try assist, 7 tackle breaks, 2 line breaks, 2 line break assists and 0 missed tackles, that's one hell of game.

Good point..
I was at the final against Manly and the Dogs had the better of that game.
DCE got them across the line.
If we had a more experienced halfback we would have won that game.
