Watching Connor live, he must be top 5 fittest in the comp. He literally never stopped running. Crazy what they have done with him.
He is the energiser bunny, the new Dylan Edwards. He is actually better at combining with team mates than Edwards is. Our back three were there for each other regularly, the more so whenever our middles kept them within their own 40 and their kicks became mostly about hoffing the ball as far as possible. They knew their would be space for returns and they were ready to take advantage of it.

Opposition coaches will be paying attention to that. They'll be insisting that their teams do good kick chases, which takes fitness.

He’s tough too. He’s not the biggest or strongest, and Ciro-ball relies on 1000 fullback carries per game.

He’s not a tackle buster but he pokes his nose into gaps so he doesn’t get dominated.

It’s impressive given his injury history.

Have you realized once kiraz catches it from a kick he always gives it to Tracey to take the hit up.. I wonder if it's for his pain management
He then takes the next hit up so possibly less about pain management and more about game plan.

They mix it up but passing to the fullback ensures you’re not coming out of a corner and you’ve got options both side of the ruck.

What was obvious to me was that we had a plan to tire out their forwards and were very patient in doing so. From minute 1 we were
Relentless turning the ball back inside toward their ruck area. Paid dividends later on as we started to make inroads towards half time .

It would be so he can take the next hit up. Tracey as he is smaller better running it back when the line is slightly broken on a kick chase. Kiraz being bigger is better to take the hit up next play , not gonna get man handled as often.

The stats don't lie, our team is the most well rounded team with everyone contributing. Storm lose one player they fall apart, broncos if Walsh, Reynolds aren't on they can't do shit!

Think thats the best game ive seen Montoya play for us.
That sin bin though. Cockhead throughs ball at his head, Montoya a slight slap in return then off to the bin lol. Anyways, hard done by and the boys rallied.

The difficulty picking the 321 for the Dogs these days probably means that we are very unlikely to see a Dogs player win the Dally M.
Effort is too spread across the team for any one player to consistently stand above. A very good downside for the Dogs me thinks.

I used to watch and sometimes fullback gets dominated id wonder why do it. Yet it also makes both sides of ruck move up in defence. Adding to fatigue in opposition. All these little things add up by late in game, love it
