Just re-watched the game. We all bag Salmon but fuck me he does some tough stuff in the middle. He went toe to toe with the big shark props and won.
He look battered but I see why Ciraldo picks him

Honestly this one is a hard one. Even with some errors and penalties they made up for it throughout the match.

3. The system
2. Preston
1. Our halves. Sexton and Hayward. Hayward did not look out of place at all.

Sitili had a great game tonight. He was out on a mission and played fast and hard.

A lot of standout players tonight, overall one of our best performance against a consistent top 4 team.

I have to give a special shout out to Wilson. The Sharks picked him as our weak link, and pathway to easy tries.

He stood tall, and took the high kicks under pressure, then took the early runs to help our forwards.

It frustrated the Sharks into errors.

Imagine Hayward after a few more games, with more experience and confidence.

1 Hayward
2 Sexton
3 Preston
Bring it on can't wait to see the Doggies rip of Newcastle next week Sunday

I didn't see the game but from the looks of the different players picked it seems most played great. Preston is so under rated. Sexton and Hayward are forming a pretty good half combo it seems. Xerri is just getting better and I am glad we resigned him. He is another buy of the season I reckon.

I always thought Montoya would do well as he already had a bulldog heart and experience in a good system. He is a terrier when he gets going. On the end of our backline he should score a lot of tries.

Man theres so many good news stories coming out of the Bulldogs now. Its good to see players like Tracy and Sexton finally cementing first grade spots. Xerri has overcome a lot to be where he is. Harry Hayes, sounds like a gangster from Peaky Blinders lol. But what a local talent. Also Hayward. These are the no name local players the Bulldogs are great at unearthing that make the team great..

This is the Bulldogs of old in spotting and developing talent and making them Bulldogs. Its so good to see the Dogs at the top of stats. If we keep this going we will have a few reps this year.

3 Preston loves the left edge
2 Haywood wanted to give him 3 but just because that game was his making. Might need play hooker next week
1 can’t split but King Reed

Incredibly difficult here. 1 to 17
3 Preston
2 Montoya
1 Hayward

Salmon Xerri Sitili King Mahoney Hayes all amazing

Also, just for completeness in this thread:
-3 Hynes. Is there a more overpaid and overrated player in the game? I am struggling to remember literally one thing he did last night.
-2 Mulitalo. Six errors, his team loses, still manages to flap his gums every chance he gets. Knob.
-1 Kennedy. Good player but we showed how to contain him and by the end of the game he was about to collapse. Sharks chose him over Tracey, we win that trade every day of the week.
