Put some respect on my man Bailey’s name! Ciro or Critta said it was his first full game in the NRL? Whaaaat? No way. Even more impressive that he played so well today. I wish he took more runs because he was dangerous when he did, making at least one linebreak. He got rave reviews from Critta and Ciro. Big talker, reliable and goes after the game.
I thought he did a lot right today and can get better. Sexton was a bit disappointing but he did his job and defended well. He kicked for over 1000m which seems rare, so he did heaps of work.
I think we lost any punch through the middle in the second half but it became a war of attrition and we defended well. I guess it was disappointing, mainly because Pawwa have been so bad that I expected an easy win. They did play much better today and did some good things. We couldn’t get out of our own end.
I was surprised looking at the team stats as they were much closer to eels than I expected. It seemed like they’d be awful, but actually weren’t.
As for points I don’t know… Tracey, Hayward and Sexton.
