He was our captain and played his heart out for us every single week. We let him go for the slug Lichaa, remember?

Stop hating past players cause they left our club. The one club player barely exists. Ennis gave his all for us, every single game

Graham had more heart than Ennis ever would! Sorry but that’s a fact.

Graham speaks more highly of the club than Ennis ever does, when he won that premiership with the peptides he washed his hands with us.

Just a misunderstanding at best.

But let's see what the scumbags twist it to.
"Knocked to the ground". Whaaaat!!!

Best get a clarification from "Simon the Raiders Drummer" on what went on...looked like good spirited stuff but he could have been worried about being outnumbered by a volatile crowd which was maybe his concern bc he wouldn't be used to the Lebo carry on :grinning:

Hopefully he is all good about it and challenges the Bulldog drummers to a session next game we meet up.

If not....Terror in the streets of Belmore and rowdy out of control thugs cause suburban mayhem with burnouts and stop ambulances and firetrucks from getting thru trying to get to life saving emergency :(

Klein was simply a disgrace, that soft pen he gave for the 'late hit' on Fogarty in the opening exchanges. Then he found a knock on from us when Raiders clearly knocked it on. 2 dud calls back to back, lucky we challenged and got the correct decision in the end. He tried to camp the Raiders on our 20m zone in the opening 10mins.

What also made it hard for the dogs was the raiders slowing down the play the ball
We had one play the ball under 3 seconds (Kikau).
Raiders had 10.
I think Raiders had one 6 again for a ruck infringement and two penalties for inside 10m.
Dogs had one ruck penalty and one 10m penalty.
The refereeing was clearly the one thing that kept the raiders in the game.
Dogs were easily the better side.

:tearsofjoy:

Surely you jest. We couldn't beat time with a stick.
If broncos don’t show up for that then they deserve everything they get. I don’t think cowboys are much chop, fluked their way to their spot somehow

You seen the video? Nothing in it at all.
Disagree. It is one bloke (a bit older), surrounded by 30+ younger males who are yelling obscenities, flipping birds, and one reaches out and puts him on his knees, from behind. It is only fun and games for those having fun and games. It is pretty obvious the bloke became intimidated, and not hard at all to figure out why. Maybe Nate just change the scenario around a bit, imagine an older Samoan guy with the flag over his shoulders, dressed in Samoan team gear, surrounded by 30+ young English guys wearing England gear, after England beats Samoa on English soil, and they are yelling at him, getting in his face in a way that can only be described as aggressive, and one of them reaches out and touches him in a way that he awkwardly falls to his knees. Is that "nothing in it at all"?

It is far from being the worst thing that has happened after a sports game, but it also isn't "nothing in it at all".

Nate my uncle got verbally abused.. he did not want to be picked up. Why can’t we agree some of our fans take shit too far. Why did anyone think it was right to touch someone at all? Especially a opposition fan…
What will go a long way is for the guy that touched him, to send him an apology. He will get more respect from everyone if he did that.

It doesn't matter what we perceive from watching a video, if the guy felt threatened in any way, who are we to say he shouldn't feel that way? He wouldn't know if he was going to be chaired or tackled especially considering it was a botched attempt.

It's just commonsense, we have a poor reputation in the game for our behaviour, help out the club by not doing things which will add to this reputation. Most importantly, don't touch opposition fans if you don't know them.

As for all the fun and laughs between the ground and the club and mostly on Burwood Road after the game, absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. My wife is a middle aged woman that has never been to a game at Belmore before and actively looks for excuses not to go to the games with me on most weekends but when we walked back to the club she said that she would definitely be going to any games played at Belmore in the future.

There's nothing wrong with celebrating a victory as long as no one is hurt. Our fanbase is passionate and fiercely loyal, we've gone through some very dark times over the past few years and stuck solid, why do we need to wait until a grand final victory to express some joy (and probably some relief)?

On to Jubilee. The wife is definitely not going to this one.

I had no idea Sutton was in the bunker, then I saw the Rapana on Preston take out with his hip. After they didn’t even look at it, I checked the team lists and see that clown in the bunker. Should have been a penalty or possibly penalty try. He played Preston and not the ball on that grubber kick.

agree but i wasnt there. i dont think he pushed him to the ground or that there was ill intent. ive seen hundreds of incidents of much worse from opposition fans. dosnt make it right but it is context

i didnt see what you saw in the video bro. i saw a bulldogs fan try to put a raiders fan n his shoulders. Seen this many times at games and with opposition fans. He accidently falls to his knees and the bulldog fan apologies immediately. Obscenities' is different and there are levels but generaly
par for the course at opposition games

Figured it may as well go in here.

Raiders vs Manly next round too, I hope raiders put in the same kind of performance so they can beat Manly and we add to a buffer to Manly aswell

I can see that the mob is having fun, but like I said, its all fun and games to those who are having fun and games. It sure didn't look like the Canberra fan was having fun in that environment, and it isn't hard to figure out why. The more "you" (as in a group of people who are clearly together) outnumber someone who is not "you", the more important it is to make it obvious that "you" are not a threat.

My understanding of the situation seems to be confirmed by what menteek Menteek is saying about his uncle. So I'm not sure what sort of apology was forthcoming, but it probably needs to be more if the bloke is still upset.

Our team is doing great on the field, we need to be doing great off the field. And the vast majority of our fans were, which makes this particular incident all the more disappointing. As for what opposition fans do, should we care? Let's look after our own house, the rest will sort itself out.

cookie your walking a fine line. It’s my uncle and the bloke would never hurt a fly. He lives in the area!! The bloke did nothing!!! His still upset by what happened yesterday……

Hope hes ok, was there more to it then the video showed?

I didn't see any agression in it but I get why he felt that way.

I'm happy we beat the faders, but I'm over the moon we beat Gashley and Slutton. We are the real deal.

We can't waste challenges from now on because they really start to rort when they know we can't challenge.
Gashley and Slutton sounds like a title for a TV show fknlol unsure what genre but yeh has a ring to it.

Raiders will put in a better performance because I'm sure Papa's 300th/301st will still be celebrated in front of their home fans.

Its not right bro snd i didnt know it was your uncle - i hope hes all good. I dont think the intent was bad from the fella who touched him. There are limits but verbals are expected if you rock up to a suburban sold out crowd of an away team wearing a viking helmet and a drum. I think a lot of fans take shit too far. Ive been to games at Manly and Newcastle and had to punch because of abusive fans.

on top of that one of the drummers in that video used his stick to just hit my uncles Viking hat. That’s the thing we act like we are entitled to do what they all did in the streets but we’re far from it. Minute we exit the finals you wait and see the shit we’re going to cop.

We shouldn't care but unless there is more that then the video - there is much worse at every game every week.
