This was a hard pick, which is always indicative of a strong team effort.

3 - TPJ, was spent at the end of the game and for good reason. 20 runs, 150m, 7 offloads, stung in his tackles, no errors, no pens
2 - Naden, 6 tackle breaks, over 50 pcm, 160m, 1 error, 0 pens, is making a huge contribution from left centre
1 - Burton, kicks were pure venom, and 400+ kicking metres is a huge contribution, 2 defused kicks, same amount as Dufty, so close to scoring his own try. Two missed conversions.

Special mentions

Fox, one of the most influential wingers in the game, defense is so good, makes good metres for a small bloke, you get the sense he is so close to scoring multiple tries in a game
Dufty, 200+ metres, line break, LB assist, Try assist, only 1 error, adds so much threat to our backline, and looked keen all game long
JMK, great dummy half try, topped the tackle count
Hetho - 163m, 59pcm, 28 tackles, no pens, 2 errors, was a major handful on the edge, no evident defensive issues this game
Waddell, 19 runs, 180m, 70 pcm, no errors, no pens
King- in 37 minutes he made 85m, 35pcm, and 25 tackles was only behind JMK, Thommo, Hetho, and Waddell. Loving the big guy off the bench.

Stats by a Bulldogs team that were unimaginable going back 4 years or so. Good signs for the future. A few tweaks and we’ll be rolling on.
Can Barrett make these tweaks though??

3- Burton: Hes coming into the role and despite opposition teams memorising his left foot step. Hes still trying. Once the team works with him he'll score more tries off that left foot. His kicks are insane.

2- Dufty,: an actual threat at fullback. Safe. Fast. Can pass.

1- JAC: for his energy and defence. But hes still bitching out of running. Im now sure hes injured and cant hit those explosive speeds at the storm. Something doesnt add up. Naden holding the ball doesnt help.

Yep, good to see a lot of people nominating the wads - not popular on here and not my usual fave. For me;

3 - Waddell
2 - Burton
1 - Nads - thought he carried strong, prob couple of times he could have passed to fox

Hate to lose, especially to the fillies from the north, thought we created more opportunities, looked really good in patches. I am still (relatively) sober after watching a Dog's game and was cheering till the end so a thousand steps forward.

One last thing, can they stop calling Reynolds "the little master" - he is not Clive Churchill's foreskin FFS. Sounds so like the shit from 2014.
