We have missed the Foxx tbh. I’d have him and Kiraz on the wings when he’s fit. I like Skelton but still think he’s not quite ready. He makes some good runs but is fairly easily contained at this level. Kiraz tonight proved to me Tracey is the right fb. Kiraz did some good things but wasn’t as damaging in his runs when playing on an edge. His positioning in defence is questionable and on that Katoa try he wasn’t urgent at all.

Tracey, JAC, Xerri, Critta, Kiraz would be our best back 5 going forward.

What a fucking win. 4 key players out that all help our attack and defense significantly. They were full strength btw that is their strongest 17. One of the best packs in the comp and we won and fought back when it mattered most. So proud of the boys and this club. I know we weren’t that good but idgaf they’re a really good side and team everywhere

Yeah he’s not in a good place but his is a class act. Justin Hodges comes to mind. Ben Hunt another, perhaps not to the same low where Hynes currently is. When Nicko finishes, he’ll be considered as good as a Hunt or a Hodges. He’ll be back in origin soon-ish

Into 5th position, winning a game ugly and the boys turning up for each other every single week.

Where 5th on ladder boys because of Ciraldo, as much as it sucks that certain players are in and out or out of favour, I don’t care. We haven’t been this high for a long time, so I’m putting my whole faith in CC.

That field goal to win the game looked like he was just having a kick in the back yard. I'm still so happy it hit the post and then went in. It just seems to take the piss out of Nicko and Cronulla a bit more.

Finally I think Sutton has enough respect for the Bulldogs that he's removed his negative bias.
We don't win that game if it was played last year.

We were ugly but we got the two points. With Tracey and Preston back and eventually the fox and hopefully no more injuries the dogs can launch from here with improvement in attack.
Really looking forward to seeing the improvement over the next month. Getting excited. It's like my mental illness from previous season's is in remission. Games like tonight though get me twitchy. Great win.
