I think we all have PTSD from Des, Pay and Barrett’s team selections. Let’s see if Ciraldo makes some big calls this Tuesday. So far his dropped Casey and Flanagan, which was both for deserved reasons.
Also just wanted to add that he moved Okunbor away from the wing after he made the mistake of playing him there that one game. Past coaches we had kept Okunbor there a lot longer so Ciraldo is clearly showing he is willing to make changes.

The main reason they didn't respond is that most are not good enough. Rfm, Reynolds, perham just not up to it. When tpj was at Brisbane he was terrible in defence and still is. King has gone backwards.

If oloapu is going to play in the halves, let him play there. Atm he seems to be playing no actual position, just on the field.

Casey was in top 30 and Wilson wasn’t. Casey was already signed to the club before Ciraldo got here. Ideally Skelton would have been above Casey but he probably went with the fact that Casey had first grade experience with so many injurues. Otherwise a backline of Perham, Alamoti, Averillo, Burns, and Skelton would have been torn apart due to inexperience.
Last week Wilson could/should have been picked over Casey. It is very clear on who us the better player. Not sure how Casey stops us from being torn apart

Ciraldo has been fair with his selections but the only exception is perham who should never have been our nrl fullback. If he is in the side next week I’ll lose all faith in ciro

Let’s see who he picks next week.

I’d get rid of the fullback, RFM and TPJ
JAC to fullback
Wilson stays on the wing
Pele for TPJ
Edwards for RFM
Hughes on the bench with Morrin

Just watched Ciraldo’s press conference. He has called out that senior players are underperforming and will be paying close attention to NSW cup to see which players put their hands up. He gave signs that the 17 will be changed as players are not doing their job so hopefully we should expect some changes next week. Also noticed he mentioned they will look at potentially starting Oloapu. JAC should also be good for next week.
Oloapu’s a passenger. He hasn’t looked remotely dangerous in 3 games and this Bozo’s solution is to start him? What an Elmer lololol

He said last week that some players were not doing their job, and that he would address it.
He didn't.
Every coach we've ever had talks about change, then sends out the same players the following week.
I reckon we'll see the same duds back out there next weekend.
He put big emphasis that he can pick players from out of the top 30 from next week. He specified that players have a chance to put their hand up tomorrow. When we look at who we actually have in our top 30, we have been quite limited for choice.

We are only just starting to come out of our injury crisis, which means that some of the players who hadn’t been dropped the past few weeks were only still there due to the fact you can’t run out with half a team of inexperienced players. If we don’t want to damage potential careers, it’s best to blood players in with experienced players around them. Mass changes won’t help, if there’s no structure in the team.

I’m afraid we are doomed as we don’t know what spine to put out and our 1 and 7 play half arse

I am not disagreeing with you, I think Wilson is much better than Casey. Last week we would have needed an exemption for Wilson, and as we were coming off from a win the week before and Kiraz was returning, maybe the club just didn’t think it was needed? Besides Gus implied Skelton would have played last week if he wasn’t suspended. Either way, unless Wilson was added to the top 30 in the past week, we must have got an exemption for this game which demonstrates that Ciraldo intentionally dropped Casey. This shows he can at least recognise when players are underperforming and take action.

Of course Casey is a fringe first grader with less than 5 games experience, it will be interesting if he could do the same to players with a lot more experience.

The rest of the season is going to show us who is part of the Dogs next year.

A lot of players not signed yet and will not be resigned or will be only offered back up (reserves) salary if they can’t step up.

TPJ needs to be moved on if possible. He just doesn’t have the mental fortitude of a top tier player.
