Hard to pick who to give points to. Tho we are a much better attacking outfit when Hayward is on compared to Mann.

Needs to be done

3-Burton contrary to some I thought was very good. Can’t close out a game, yet kept us in it. Needs to do more of the kicking.
2-Kikau yes should of passed ball more, yet was again extremely busy and heavily involved
1-Hard to find a spot here, maybe Kiraz purely off involvement. Couple bad errors though!!
I dont understand a 3,2,1 when we lose.
Kikau was shit and well under par the last 2 games.

Is Ciro grooming Haywood as a replacement for that other guy playing the seven roll?

I think we missed the weak gutted dog ;)

3 - Hayward (looked good in a few of our better plays, ball movement looked shit once he came off)

Burton... Surely you are taking the piss.
Go back and watch his putrid defensive effort on Kaeo Weekes line break that led to Youngs try. That shit was weak and embarrassing, couple that with him dodging responsibility of his role and hiding at hooker creating errors.
That effort against Weekes surely saved him from SOO selection when Madge saw that. Sadly it doesn't look like Matt will ever be utilizing his untapped brilliant potential. Such a great pity that he can't manage to put in an 80 min MOM performance when its all on the line. Frustrating player bc we all want to see him excel as much for his sake as the teams.

the canberra no.6 played with the energy and involvement we need from burton. If a 19 year old rookie can do it, surely burton can improve his concentration and intensity during a game

For sure. Unfortunately tho he doesn't seem to have that kind of 80 min go in him or the drive to be a main playmaker/reliable x factor for us even with all the encouragement and support he gets from ciro.

We lost to a team down to 11 players last night….
We almost lost to a team down to a team with 11 players at one stage in the Roosters….
We again didn’t have control of the game against Tigers who also were down to 11 players in the game & just scraped to victory!

Our attack & game managers in our team absolutely S’uck!

Burton yesterday got schooled by a 19yo with just 10 games under his belt!

Kikau & Xerri we’re absolutely awful last night too!
At this moment in time Burton is on marquee super flop levels. If he some how gets picked for origin it will be a farce.

I have always maintained that Burton is to big to be an effective 5/8. We need someone with more acceleration.
He is better suited as a centre replacing Xerri. Maybe Haywood is the way to go.

Burton is just low energy. Josh Reynolds at 34 had more ticker and energy despite being busted.

Preston made a strong return to the starting team.

Kingy was solid again and Curran gives us a point of difference when he comes on.

We go again

I think it’s still important. It’s easy for some players to perform whilst winning and in the comfort zone. Yet good to see when we not in that zone.

3: Curran - Did his job on the edge and then finished the first half in the middle. Honestly can't fault him.

2: Crichton - Made the best of his shitty opportunities. Was making half breaks all game.

1: Mahoney - Most underrated dummy half in the game. Made that one error at the end of the game, but that was Burton's fault.
