There's two. One is the one Wahesh said (ASMR) which isn't really for relaxation. It is a bit but it's mainly to mess with your senses and give you chills.

The other one is binaural audio. It's kind of like surround sound but for sensory audio. They record the audio with two microphones so some audio goes in your right ear while the other audio goes in your left ear. Makes you feel like you're in the middle of a forest.

They use binaural for other things too like playing one constant beat in one ear and sounds in the other ear then it switches randomly. It's meant to relax you or something like that.

I used to listen to these programs that were designed for taking power naps. It would plays soothing sounds for around 15-20 minutes to lull you to sleep then it would start playing a wake up sound to pull you out of it before you slipped into a deep sleep.

The problem I had is that I can't sleep during the day so I'd end up listening to it for 15 minutes then go about my day. Still relaxing but didn't help me sleep.
