Yesterday, I realised that it was 5 years to the day that I made the brilliant decision to give the Champix Tablets a go and to this day, I still don't regret my decision to go to a Doctors Surgery to obtain a prescription
I was onto about week 3 when I kicked the habit for good. Even so, from the moment I began on the Champix I was smoking way less than I normally would. Even going through a packet of Longbeach 20's at the same rate that I would go through a pack of 40's.still havent quit
but cant quite kick it yet

Believe it or not, the Docs wanted me to lose weight before quitting as smoking doesn't didn't cause or doesn't effect this particular condition as much as extra weight does.

I have never smoked, surprising seeing Mum, Dad and my three brothers did.Unfortunately Mum passed on from smoking related lung cancer about thirty years ago now and Dad quit cold turkey the day she was diagnosed.Dad was smoke free for the last 25 years of his life.
