Why are the players being bashed? They didn’t agree to wear the jerseys when they signed to play there. If anyone is at fault here it’s Manly making a decision like this without consulting their playing group first. You shouldn’t have to compromise your religion to do your job.

There is nothing currently before the Supreme Court in the USA to overturn Gay marriage. It was stipulated in the Dobbs decision that the overturning of Roe V Wade related solely to abortion & nothing else. Some politicians & media speculated about it but that is all.

Yeah, I said that loosely. It wasn't just media though. Judge Alito (of the Supreme Court) released a statement suggesting that they would also consider overturning same sex marriage, and several other laws. Unlikely to happen but he did still make that statement.

Well it certainly looks like those 7 players have set the standard that if clubs are going to do this that players will boycott. I reckon if it happens to us though the fans will boycott, and the club will know not to do it again.
