Agree with most of this, except week 2 I reckon Raiders can beat the Roosters and take their place in week 3 of the finals. Also if it comes down to Penrith and Melbourne, I reckon Penrith can win.

its a tough call on the roosters v Penrith. Can the roosters bounce back, i think they can, but will Penrith stand up to the pressure? i hope they can, it is clearly the game of the week one finals. I can see it going either way. But i will cheering the panthers.

if newcastle are to beat Souths, they need Klemmer and the pack to bash Souths out of the game. I dont rate Souths at all, so i am hoping knights can come with this attitude. on the flip side, knights have been so inconsistent this year they could get pumped also. Hate souths so go knights

Interesting thing is in all 4 finals, the underdogs scored the first 2 tries yet managed to lose the match.

Before the Souths game I was extremely confident of a 3 peat. Penrith are on a great run but haven’t beaten anyone of note in the last 12 weeks & have a very inexperienced side with little finals experience. The Roosters have also had Melbournes measure when it counts. Parramatta are no hope and I do t think a side outside the top 4 can win.
After losing 60-8 the Roosters are done. Zero chance now. Had they lost by 20 or even 30 I’d say an aberration. But 60 ?
Put your house on a Storm v Penrith GF with Melbourne winning.
That was the most inept performance I have ever seen from any side. The Roosters were pathetic.

Well I don't think Souths can beat Penrith, so I still have them in the GF. I'm starting to lean towards Canberra though. I mean if it was a regular season game I'd pick the Storm, but I'm thinking Canberra might do it now and we'll have a repeat of '90 and '91 on October 25.
