Players hated Flanagan, RFM and Nu Brown

He has to be kidding.
In fact, if El Senor Flanagan believes Junio has any talent at all then Dragons are in deep doo doo.
Nu Brown came to the dogs with a history of issues with other players.
And RFM didn't handle the situation at all well.
 
If any of this is true, it shows how out of touch management were with the players to award the captaincy to rfm. I d hate to think how bad things would be without Gus.
 
Not buying it for a minute. RFM was around for ages .. he wouldn’t have been extended as many times as he was if he was unliked, let alone been given the club captaincy.

Flanagan seemed very popular with teammates too judging by the way he was involved in try celebrations. Possibly relations have soured since he left. And possibly relations with RFM soured after he spoke to Buzz.

Wiedler is a well known agenda pusher and this forum hated him with a passion when he was pushing anti bulldogs agendas. I find it pretty funny how a lot of people seem to take his word as gospel now he is on the pro bulldogs side of the PR machine.

You are right about those try celebrations mate .. from the outside looking in that is … but when I looked closer, thought I detected a hint of fake smiles ..

Don't think they were hated. RFM had a fallout with the club, but really wasn't needed for his footy anymore, and Brown and Flanno didn't fit the team plans.
 
Smashing the Dragons was sweet.

Tbh Flanagan was one of the worst halves to ever play for our club. Did alright at hooker or off the bench and he really shouldn’t have a lock on the Dragons halves jersey. Nepotism at its finest.

Gut feeling is part of the reason Flanagan Snr wasn’t appointed was cos his son was never part of our clubs long term plans
