Ref was atrocious officiating the ruck tonight. He never got control of it

Just seeing how slow they would peel off or not even make an attempt to clear the ruck

What about the fucking mistake he called on us because that midget fucking wit renyolds dragged his foot in the ruck and made contact with the ball being put down?

In 15 games this season we have won the PTBS only twice. How is that possible? More evidence that the refs use different rules for different teams?
Yh because its scripted

The ref had a big 10 meters today too. And broncos did go early a fair bit. But I guess we did get way more set restarts too so maybe it was fair. But yeh. They definitely slowed us down a few times with no penalties tonight.

Even Cooper Cronk was like that should be a Bulldogs penalty.

So now people have caught on to the fact that the ref was carrying the broncos all game?? I could have told you all this in the first 5 minutes of the first half.

We got dudded all night. But what I want to know is, since when are hits to the head allowed?

Todd knocks it on, ruled knock on. Replays show shoulder contact to the head. Dogs players then penalised because they saw replay and expected a penalty. Next set Todd taken off for HIA. At that time was 18-10. Changes the game.

tbf it only takes a few players' averages to make it look worse for us. Bronson had a ptb speed of 4.19 last week, and this week Monty was at 4.18.. sometimes we forget that a lot of our sets get saved by Burton's boot.

Todd made some shocking calls but ultimately we handed them that game. Respect Sutton more after that at least he has some pride when cheating, like that Reynolds play the ball leg drag wow.

Play the ball speed had nothing to do with that loss. Final 20 was the dumbest football in attack I’ve seen since Pay and Baz days. Galvin consistently put kikz and burton under pressure with hospital passes. Galvin played without composure.
Totally agree. Moreover Sexton and Mahoney really needed to step in and play smarter aswell . They needed to keep peppering their right side with better execution. Allowing Gavlin roaming both sides isn't working unfortunately.

The main reason play the ball speeds can differ is whether the tackle is dominant or not. In a dominant tackle defenders are given more time to get off the tackled player. We have to create more dominance, and when we have the ball and two or more defenders are on one of our players, look for a judicious offload so their defence is a but scrambled. Storm are masters of both of these tactics.

We need more players to hump the ground like Mick Hancock to get a quick play the ball or penalty/six again.

We get turned on our back or slow walk wrapped up before ptb ...a lot.
