Seriously guys, he's 33 and in the twilight of his career. He's not the long-term answer for a halfback. Even having him at #7 for 1 year is 1 year off another 7 who could be a long-term answer.
Why does he need to be a long term answer?
Why can’t he be a short term answer?
Flanagan was meant to be a long term answer and how did that work out habib?
If it was up to wahesh we never buy a kid over 20.

So let's buy a halfback for 1 year then end up in the same position in 12 months time?

Wow you've got your thinking cap on.

That happened almost right in front of me, I’ll never forget it. I was late getting GF tickets that year and thought I ended up getting ordinary seats until the Hunt/Thurston thing defined the result. It was the same when Hershelle Gibbs dropped Steve Waugh in the 1999 Cricket World Cup Semi Final - both cost them the game and Australia went on to win the WC.

Man I still remember that like it was yesterday lol. Then the second game with Lance Kluesner looking like he was about to get some redemption until Mr Donald showed up at the crease lol

Even Noddy was good for us, so Hunt or Johnson would do the same, much needed I think.

Just had my hopes for nothing ben hunt got offered 2 year deal from roosters where screwed

From where are you hearing this?

Losing walker for hunt is stupid by roosters. They have a calm head in keary.
