yes it is one thing to win a comp. To go and break the most valuable thing your team can win in the game within a WEEK of receiving it is disgusting. I could only imagine how much we would be getting fined if we did this.

I could imagine the headlines if it was us; and the calls from the usual conga line of journalists for us to be kicked out of the comp.

Incidentally, when Daley dropped the cup from the ute, the NRL had also learned that the Raiders had breached the salary cap to win the comp.
They were fined, and had their cap reduced for the following season - but were allowed to keep the premiership win.

When it was the Dogs breaching the cap - we also copped the fine and cap reduction, but were stripped of all points, and denied a premiership.
The game after we lost our points was against the Raiders, and their fans turned up with wooden spoons, jeering and laughing at us. Hypocrites.
That's why I can't stand Canberra fans, and enjoy every Raiders loss.

Let's hope that the NRL treat everyone the same. St George players done like a dinner and Tik Tok boy is not that stupid to know that these guys were there illegally.

Travel was explicitly banned and all players knew it because of the bubble they had been placed in. Cleary may not have been responsible for them being there but he knew they were there and he was responsible for inviting them to the celebrations, something that is a breach.
