He lobbied and persuaded the state govt to redevelop suburban grounds. The money that was earmarked to rebuild Accor stadium has now been distributed to redevelop suburban grounds .
Other clubs will also benefit , we won’t though .

The Paceway is literally across the road from the existing stadium, but at an awkward angle and with less parking.

It makes absolutely no sense to build a brand new stadium alongside a perfectly good and decent one with already ample parking.

It's been as bout 10 years since i saw a game at Penrith, but the stadium seemed to be perfectly fit for purpose back then.

Why is there need to build a brand new one?

you would have thought that the government would be spending money on stadiums that will/could have multiple tenants, used across multiple sports, in built up suburban areas etc. (eg. a new south western Sydney stadium that could cater to the 'Dogs, Tigers, MacArthur FC etc.)

Its got SFA parking at Bluebet ,everyone parks in Panthers parking lot and Kmart lot i was there last week and couldnt find any parking anywhere

That's just it. It doesn't really need new parking as Panthers and surrounding streets offer more than enough.

Unless the plan (which is completely stupid mind you) is to bulldoze the stadium, build a brand new one, and turn current stadium into a training paddock, centre of excellence, and amulti story carpark??

Plenty of space at Canterbury racecourse into a nice boutique stadium , along with training facilities for us.
