I think they have a really good chance. England are poor when away from the UK and they only have about 6 NRL caliber players in the team.

Anyone remember Tonga vs Samoa last year? Probably the best game of league I saw last year.

Quality football, plenty of passion and huge hits, honestly it was like watching footy game years ago when they players gave a fuck, not the fake bullshit nowadays.

Pity they aren't playing each other this year.

Just when it was starting to get interesting they decide to alter it again and add two new teams. Was looking forward to watching PNG vs Fiji. Nice little rivalry developing...

I agree brotha. Rivalries are what makes contests, Samoans and Tongans have long standing rivalry which brings passion to the game. It means something. Samoa playing England will be good prep for the world cup, but i prefer Tonga v Samoa.

this seems pointless for England as they have to fly over half the team, and it affects their season as well as it's not on hold like it is for the NRL. Should have just kept the pacific islands

I wont be surprised if Samoa upset England. Im not old enough to remember the Great Britain sides of the past but from recent memory the England sides that have travelled to Australia have been underwhelming. Who could forget the opener of WC2008 where they nearly got their pants pulled down by PNG.
