Use this thread to discuss what food or products you believe are over priced and over rated.

I'll start with Harry's cafe De wheels.

I've heard so many people rant and rave about how good this place is?

I tried it a while back and thought to myself.
Why did just pay over $10 for a hot dog and drink?

The hot dog didn't taste any greater than most other hot dogs I've eaten.
I felt disappointed and ripped off eating there.

Must be weekend binge drinkers who rate it so high?

Coco Cubano is over rated.
I've got a friend who has been to Cuba and said it's not themed like Cuba at all.

Harrys is easy to explain.

Remember how after a night on the grog you'd head out, get shitfaced, and NEED a late night kebab (normally dodgy). Harrys fills that void for people that cannot eat kebabs.

Yeah I thought so?
I remember when I was younger and go out binge drinking.
If you didn’t eat it would hit you like a tonne bricks when the hunger kicked in.

You’d eat the dirtiest fast food and you think it’s the best because you need food in your stomach and because you’re drunk, your stomach tricks your brain into believing you just had the best meal ever but really you didn’t.

Fkn petrol. Our "premium" fuel is still lower in octane than overseas.

Thats crap.

I often add injector cleaner to mine and I generally only fill up at BP or caltex on the M4.

The BP at Elizabeth drive,Kemps creek is good.
They do their fuel 5c-15c cheaper than anywhere else.

I refuse to fill up at the servo on horsley drive,Yennora across from patrician brothers!

Injector cleaner (in the bottle) often does slim to nothing. Save your money, because most of that stuff is already in premium 98 fuels.

As for the M4, do you find they are more expensive, as higher traffic flow servos normally come with a higher price tag.

It's on the way to work and as for injector cleaner I need to pump more in. Was my grandfather's car.
He filled up all the time e10 at the shitvservo at Yennora.

I was having start up trouble. Not so much anymore since I always put 98 in it with some injector cleaner.

I've also heard once you fill up the fuel loses octane over time anyway?

I fill up with BP Ultimate and dump in a bottle of octane booster.
