Ok third time lucky since the last two had controversy.
I made sure I included Les Johns so the old timers don’t get snappy.

Should be a tight contest between Barba and Silva I think. Patten might be a smokie.

If we're being serious and deciding on the best ever Bulldogs Fullback, it has to be Luke Patten.

The man played over 200 games for us, won a premiership with us, was safe as a house and was consistent throughout those all those 200+ games.

Ben Barba on skills and talent hands down. Longevity and consistency Luke Patten but the most skillful and talented was Barba and that's why I'm voting Brett Morris, because that’s how much I love this new poll.

Shouldn’t fullback be named “Stand back”.
Mate, you should really give this game away coz you have no idea.
First you call Turvey divisive. All Bulldog fans loved him. He was one of the all time greats, probably the greatest player ever to put on a Dogs jersey. When he got the ball, the crowd cheered and stood, something you don’t see on YouTube. He was something else.
Gary Hughes was the smartest player I ever saw. So clever throwing a pass or kicking through for his support. Think of Burton kicking to JAC. Hughes perfected that.
Now regarding your lesson on stand off half. In 60 years of playing and watching, this has never been a term used.
Numerically, it comes from this
Full back 1/1 or 8/8
Centre three quarter 3/4 or 6/8
Half back 1/2 or 4/8
Where did the Five-eighth traditionally play?
Between half back (4/8) and centre (6/8)….5/8
Do some research before you next post, you won’t look like a dope

You left out Greg Brentnall and Gary Dowling - two of our greatest after Johns.

If you never saw Les Johns play, you missed one of the greats. It's not hype from the oldies - he was something special.
Totally agree with this post.
Les Johns is the reason I started following the Berries.
I was lucky enough to meet him when we played at the showground part of Sydney Stadium.
Shook his his hand and told him he was the reason.
Injuries affected and cut short his career.

I was too young to see Les Johns play, but he did represent state and country as a fullback which can't be said for any others on that list.
