Dear Cooper,

I walked out of ANZ Stadium on grand final night convinced we had seen the last of you in the NRL.

A stand-out performance in a grand final-winning team with two of your best mates by your side - could there possibly be a better way to end it all?

The photo of you, Cameron and Billy smiling in front of the Storm fans with the Summons-Provan trophy in hand will become an iconic rugby league image in the years to come.

Billy has already said he will kick on for another year while your skipper will no doubt push on and go past the 400-game mark.

As for you? Well, you just keep us guessing.

At various stages, we in the media have had you controlling things at Newcastle, St George Illawarra, Cronulla and Penrith.

Just to name a few.

There’s been talk of swap deals, secret deals, special deals, counter deals and no deal at all.

Which just leads to endless speculation.

The latest mail has you saddling up with the Roosters.

How they fit you under the cap only Uncle Nick knows, but we know it wouldn’t spell great news for Luke Keary and Mitchell Pearce

But I for one hope you are analysing games – not playing in them – next year.

You may be right to go mentally and physically, but some players should never be seen in opposition colours.

Does anyone remember Ricky Stuart’s two years at Canterbury?

Or Fatty Vautin dragging his feet – and bottom lip – around at the Roosters for two seasons?

Cooper, you’d be the first player in the history of Australian rugby league to play more than 300 games for the one club THEN switch to a rival.

Think about that for a minute.

It may end well at the Roosters or wherever.

But it could also end with you farewelling a few thousand fans on a cold Saturday night in Auckland, Campbelltown or Cronulla.

Play in the World Cup and add that title to your 2017 Origin crown and premiership ring.

Cooper, at 34 it won’t get any better than that.

Leave us wanting more, not asking why you batted on for one or two years in foreign colours…

Thanks for your time.

Regards, Adam

If he's still undecided, this may well tip the scales! Haha.

I understand the sentiment, but I guess it's his decision.

One things for sure, if the Roosters sign him and have to let Pearce and or Keary go to do it, I'd hope to see the media job out with their pick axes accusing the club of disloyalty as they have been accusing us.

Dear Adam,

I don't care what you think.

Whilst you are at home jerking off in a tissue to PornHub, I'm pounding my lovely new wife Rara Tushton.

If I can do that whilst earning a million+ a year then retire, I will.

Kind Regards,

Gooper Gronk.

Why retire when you have atleast 2 great competitive years left, especially if the missus isn't giving you curry about retiring? For a bloke that has done it all and with time left than I just don't understand anything less than a new challenge. That is why I don't understand links with Rorters or the peptide guppies. Both teams that really don't need him! We know he has to move to Sydney, that's a given. If he goes to Rorters or sharks than know will ever convince me it was for nothing more than $$$. Such a great legacy Cooper sits on top of right now and I hope that he goes out in a suitable way. For me what better way than to pick a non basket case powerful club who aren't at their usual top. Come in and raise them back to where they belong and then ride off into the sunset with that legacy behind you. I would hate for Cooper to tarnish how we look at him with a stupid decision right now.

Nothing on their website about this. Hopefully not true. The Roosters are good at rorting caps but surely this would be beyond even Uncle Nick, otherwise serious questions would need to be asked about the Roosters, the salary cap and the NRL.

No, because you can choose your friends. I have family who support the bunnies. You cannot choose your family :sob:
