Always has been a strong runner and a forward through the grades... Its his piss weak defence that sent him to the sideline.

Would say Topine would be just as valuable as Okunbor as a utility.

Topine has far more heart and effort for whatever team you put him in than Oki will, ever. Maybe they are giving Oki a chance bc his contract is up and his Mum works/did work in Admin...but in the meantime Gus and CC look like they are not supporting Topine's advancement and footy career.

The excuse, and a very reasonable excuse in hindsight, for players who have been at the club over the last decade is that the coaching/ individual development opportunities have not been as professional as most other clubs - the current regime may give some players who have repeatedly struggled the skill fitness n awareness to step up to another level.

Has Oky's defence improved/stayed the same/gone backwards since he came back from that injury? He is too much of a defensive liability to have on field in 1st grade for any length of time, other teams will target him and get results 9/10 times.

You can’t teach a 5 year old bird to be hand raised and you can’t teach an Okunbur to not rush in off the wing.

Okunbor has always been bog average, I never understand why some people keep calling for him to be in first grade.

You can fix that tho. Move him into the middle of the field. Alltho he may justvrun back to the wing.
